"Clinical Ethics Consultation: Through the Lens of Case Discussion"
The 2012 Annual Conference
will be held in Dublin Ohio (near Columbus)
at the Conference Center at OCLC
Friday, April 27, 2012
The conference will include a keynote address, plenary and breakout sessions. Sample topics include setting limits, conscientious objections, religious dilemmas common to ethics consultants, when parents can't agree, advanced directive pitfalls, depression/mental health disturbances and more. Most sessions will be introduced via a paradigmatic case on the topic followed by a presentation and audience discussion. The goal of this year's conference is to allow plenty of time for questions from professionals newer to clinical consultation and to capitalize on the expertise of the experienced ethicists and clinicians attending the conference.
This education is co-provided by the Midwest Care Alliance and BENO for contact/clock hours for nursing and social workers. Please contact Beth Griebel for questions regarding Counselor clock hours.
